On motion of Mr. Purnell,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to amend the Act passed at the January ses-
sion of 1868, chapter 424, incorporating the town of Berlin,
Worcester county.

On motion of Mr. Duke,

Leave was granted to the Calvert delegation and Mr. Lo-
ker, of St. Mary's, to report a bill to protect the fish in the
waters of the Patuxent river and its tributaries.

On motion of Mr. Gatch,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation to
introduce a bill to authorize the Commissioners of Baltimore
county to appoint a Police for Canton, 12th District of said
county.

On motion of Mr. Dennis,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to make changes in the Registration Law for
Worcester county.

On motion of Mr. Touchstone,

Leave was granted to the Cecil delegation to introduce a
bill granting the assent of the General Assembly of Mary-
land to the bequest of a legacy made in the last will and testa-
ment of Josias Ramsey, late of Cecil county, deceased, to the
Trustees of the Methodist Protestant Church at New Leeds,
Cecil county, Maryland.

On motion of Mr. Hopkins,

Leave was granted to the Harford delegation to introduce

a bill to incorporate the Harford County Railroad Company.

On motion of Mr. Cotton,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and Means
to introduce a bill to regulate the grade and legalize the
transfer of licenses.

On motion of Mr. Sword,

Leave wag granted to the Washington county delegation
to introduce a bill to repeal an Act entitled an Act, passed in
1864, chapter 71, relating to fishing in the Potomao river,
lying in Washington connty.

On motion of Mr. Purnell,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to introduce
a bill for the relief of the personal representatives of Ambrose
M. Payne.
