A bill entitled an Act to change the name of the town of
Sandy Hill, in the eighth election district of Worcester
County, to the name of Stockton.

Which was read a first time, and referred to the Worcester
delegation, and Mr. Brattan.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of Public Local
Laws, passed February 27th, 1841, chapter 137, relating to
the division lines of the fifth election district of Baltimore
county, and re enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Baltimore
county delegation.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of 1868, chapter 358, entitled an Act to pro-
vide for the repairs of the public roads of Howard county.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Howard
delegation, and Mr. Kilbourn.

The Secretary of the Senate returned the following bill
endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled an Act to change the name of the Mutual
Coal Company of Allegany county, to that of the Maryland
Coal Company, and to confirm a decree of the Circuit Court
of Allegany county, changing said name.
