Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pensions.

Mr. Marbury (the rules being suspended) presented the
petition of Susan-Richardson, widow of Thomas Richardson,
asking for a pension.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pensions.

Mr. Chapman (the rules being suspended) presented the
petition of William Boswell and others, asking a pension for
Catharine Huntt, widow of Caleb Huntt, a soldier of the war
of 1812.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pensions.
Also,

The petition of Innocence B. Shaw, praying a pension be
granted her.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pensions.

Mr. Sanner (the rules being suspended) submitted the fol-
lowing order:

Ordered, That the Committee already appointed to visit
the Maryland Penitentiary, be requested to examine the con-
dition of the prisoners in the same, and recommend for par-
don such as in their judgment should be pardoned.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Baldwin, of Harford, (the rules being suspended) sub-
mitted the following order;

Ordered, That the daily meeting of this House shall be at
11 o'clock, A. M., until otherwise ordered.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Grouse (the rules being suspended) presented the peti-
tion of Elizabeth N. Naill, widow of a soldier of the war of
1812, asking a pension.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pensions.
On motion of Mr. Sanner,

At 1 o'clock, P. M., the House adjourned until to-morrow
morning at 11 o'clock.
