Leave was granted to the Dorchester delegation to
introduce a Bill changing the manner or mode of electing
Trustees to Baptist Church property at Jones' Mills, Dor-
chester county.

On motion of Mr. McLane,

Leave was granted to the Judiciary Committee to introduce
a bill to repeal section 50, Article 5, of Public General Laws
relating to appeals, and to re-enact the same as amended ;
and to add an additional section to said Article.

On motion of Mr. Neill,

Leave was granted to the Judiciary Committee to introduce
a bill to authorize the executors or administrators of non-
resident stockholders to transfer the stock of their decedents
in the Williamsport and Greencastle Turnpike Company, with-
out taking out letters of administration or testamentary in
this State.

On motion of Mr. Streett,

Leave was granted to Harford delegation to introduce a bill
to repeal chapter 183 of the Laws of Maryland, entitled an
Act to- repeal an Act to add a new section to Article 12 of the
Code of Local Laws for Harford county, entitled schools, re-
lating to the Harford county Academy and to the Cokesburg
or Abingdon Academy; and to re-enact the same with an
amendment dividing and changing the time of payment of
the State's donation to Harford county Academy.

Mr. Hoblitzeli submitted the following order,

Ordered, That the Hall Keeper be directed to have the
steps to the main entrance to the Capitol, and the steps lead-
ing into the grounds, properly covered with boards.

Wbich was adopted.

Mr. Thomas, of Frederick, submitted the following order.

Ordered, That the Committee on Printing be instructed to
have five hundred copies of the report of Agricultural College
printed for the use of the members of this House.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Owing s submitted the following order,

Ordered, That the Committee upon Tobacco Warehouses
be instructed to examine into the affairs of State wharves at-
tached to said Warehouses.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Meekins submitted the following order,
