The hour having arrived for taking up the order of the day,

On motion of Mr. McLane,

The House proceeded to the consideration of the bill en-
titled a Supplement to an Act entitled an Act to incorporate
the Peoples' Gas Light Company of Baltimore.

The question recurring upon the amendment proposed by
the Senate to the title of said bill, as recorded on page 352
of the Journal,

The question being upon concurring in the amendments.
Pending the consideration of which,
Mr. Biddle moved the previous question.

The question then being, "Shall the main question be now
put?"

It was decided in the affirmative.

The question then recurring upon concurring in the amead-
ment proposed by the Senate,

On motion of Mr. Hoblitzell,
