A bill entitled an Act to add a further supplement to an
Act to incorporate the Weverton Manufacturing Company,
passed at December session, 1834, chapter 144, appointing
certain persons Directors, and regulating the time and place
of holding the first meeting of stockholders.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Merrick, Chairman of the Committee on Ways and
Means, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act for the relief of Miss Margaret H.
Armstrong, of Baltimore county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Mitchell, Chairman of the Committee on the Judi-
ciary, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to change the dividing line between
the first and eighth election districts in Worcester county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Marbury, Chairman of the Committee on Internal Im-
provements, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Frederick and
Pennsylvania Line Railroad Company to build a railroad
from Frederick city, the terminus of the road which it is
authorized under its charter to build, through Frederick and
Montgomery counties to the boundary of the District of
Columbia so as to make a direct connection with the City of
Washington.

Which was lead a first time.

Mr. Grouse, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Carroll county, to indemnify William Shaw for
the destruction of his property in the City of Westminster,
by a riot in April, 1865, and to levy a sum of money for the
payment of such indemnity.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. McCreery, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments, section 187 of Article 11, of the Code of Public Local
Laws for Frederick county, relating to Justices of the Peace
and Constables in said county.
