CHAPTER 417.
AN ACT to add the following Sub-Sections to Article twelve of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Harford County," sub-title "Sheriff," to come in after Section one hundred and thirty- six.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the following sub-sections be added to Article twelve of the Code Public Local Laws, title "Harford county," sub-title " Sheriff," to come in after Section one hundred and thirty- six.	Additions.
Sub-Section 1. It shall be the duty of the Sheriff of Harford county, and he is hereby authorized and empowered to employ a competent physician to attend the inmates of the jail in said county when- ever in his judgment said inmates by reason of sickness or otherwise may require such attention.	Sheriff to employ physi- cians.
Sub-Section 2. It shall be the duty of the County Commissioners to levy annually upon the assessa- ble property of said county, a sum of money not exceeding one hundred dollars, to carry into effect the provisions of the above sub-sections.	Levy to pay.
