him for the use of the General Assembly, and in
what amounts and to whom distributed.

The President of the Senate and Speaker of the
House of Delegates shall also appoint one suitable
person to be keeper of the rotunda and committee
rooms, with a per diem of four dollars.

Stamps.

The secretary of the Senate and chief clerk and
reading clerk of the House of Delegates may be
allowed the same amount of postage stamps and
stationery as is now or may be by law here.after
allowed to the members of the General Assembly;

and to each of the other officers of the Senate and
House of Delegates, stationery may be allowed,
not to exceed five dollars in value, and postage
stamps to the same amount.

Repealed.

Sec. 12. And be it enacted, That Chapter one
hundred and eighty-seven, of Acts passed January
Session, eighteen hundred and sixty-seven, and
Chapter seventy of Acts passed January Session,
eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, so far as they
are inconsistent with this Act, be and the same
are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 412.

AN ACT to repeal an Act passed at January ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and sixty-seven, entitled
"An Act to repeal Section nine of the Act of
January session, eighteen hundred and sixty-
six, Chapter one hundred and nineteen, incor-
porating the Union Railroad Company of Balti-
more, and re-enacting the same with amend-
ments, and also to add additional sections
thereto," to repeal the fourth sixth, ninth and
tenth sections incorporating said Company,
and re-enact the same with amendments, and
further to amend the charter of said Company.

Section. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Act passed at January ses-
