Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That any person or
persons violating the first section of this Act shall
forfeit his boat or vessel, and it shall be lawful for
any Justice of the Peace of the county or city in
which such person or persons shall be arrested, to
try such person or persons, and on conviction to
condemn said boat or vessel, and sell the same on
five days notice, and fine the said offender or of-

fenders a sum not less than five nor more than
twenty-five dollars for each and every offence, and
the said Justice of the Peace shall pay over one-
half of said fines and forfeitures to the informer,
and the other half to the School Board of said
county or city.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 403.

AN ACT supplementary to the Act of eighteen
hundred and sixty-six, Chapter four, entitled
"An Act supplementary to the Act of eighteen
hundred and sixty-four, Chapter three hundred
and fifty-three, entitled an Act to incorporate the
President and Commissioners of the town of
Cecilton."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the President and Commission-
ers of the town of Cecilton, in Cecil County, be
and they are hereby authorized and empowered to
suppress all disorderly meetings, to prevent the
firing of cannon, guns, firearms, squibs, or fire-
works of any kind, to abate all nuisances, to pre-
vent swine, geese or ducks from running at large,
the driving of horses at a rate exceeding eight
miles per hour, and the parading or indecent ex-
hibition of any stud horse or horses within the
limits of said town.
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That any person
violating any of the provisions of the preceding
