CHAPTER 397.
AN ACT directing the Comptroller of the Treas-
ury to cause to be paid to Brice Shipley a sum
of money erroneously paid into the Treasury by
the said Brice Shipley.
WHEREAS, Brice Shipley did, at the January
Term, eighteen hundred and seventy, of the Cir-
cuit Court of Anne Arundel County, obtain judg-
ment against the Comptroller of the Treasury,
under the Act of Assembly of eighteen hundred
and sixty-eight, Chapter three hundred and two,
for the sum of sixteen dollars and seventy-nine
cents, current money, and the costs thereon,
amounting together to twenty-five dollars and
sixty-four cents, therefore,

Treasurer to
pay.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That upon the warrant of the Comp-
troller the Treasurer shall pay to Brice Shipley,
or his order, the sum of twenty-five dollars and
sixty-four cents.

In force.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 398.
AN ACT to Legalize a Supplement to the Mary-
land Code, containing the Acts of the General
Assembly passed at the Sessions of [eighteen hun-
dred and sixty-one,] eighteen hundred and sixty-
one, and eighteen hundred and sixty-two, eigh-
teen hundred and sixty-four, eighteen hundred
and sixty-five, eighteen hundred and sixty-six,
and eighteen hundred and sixty-seven, arranged
in Articles and Sections to correspond with the
Code, by Lewis Mayer.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That a Supplement to the Maryland
