Code, containing the Acts of the General Assem- bly passed at the seasons of [eighteen hundred and sixty-one,] eighteen hundred and sixty-one, and eighteen hundred and sixty-two, eighteen hundred and sixty-four, eighteen hundred and sixty-five, eighteen hundred and sixty-six, and eighteen hun- dred and sixty-seven, arranged in Articles and Sections to correspond with the Code, by Lewis Mayer, be and the same is hereby legalized and made of equal authority in the Courts of this State, with the Acts of the General Assembly therein codified.		Act legalized.
Sec. 6. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from the date of its passage. Approved April 4, 1870.		la force.
CHAPTER 399.
AN ACT to Release the Sureties on the official bond of J. B. Price, Sheriff of Cecil County. SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That B. B. Price, Joseph Megill, W. H. Ernerson, Francis King, Ebenezer Clark, Josias Blackway and Benjamin Miller, sureties on the official bond of Jarnes B. Price, Sheriff for Cecil County, for the years eighteen hundred and
sixty-four and eighteen hundred and sixty-five, be and they are hereby released from the payment of interest on all sums due the State from the said J. B. Price; provided, that on or before the first day of October, eighteen hundred and seventy, the sureties pay into the Treasury the amount of the principal sum due the State as ascertained by the Comptroller of the Treasury.	Release securi- ties.
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from the date of its passage. Approved, 1870.	In force.
