said Company shall have all the powers, and be
subject to all rates, charges and regulations pre-
scribed in relation to the main road.

Amend.
|
Sec. 13. And be it enacted, That the General
Assembly reserves the right to alter, amend or re-
peal this Act of incorporation at pleasure.

In force.
|
Sec. 14. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from its passage.

AN ACT to repeal Section six of an Act passed
January Session, eighteen hundred and sixty-
seven, Chapter two hundred and ninety-eight,
entitled "An Act to incorporate the Pennsyl-
vania Line Railroad Company," and to re-enact
the same with amendments.

Repealed and
re-enacted.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Section six of an Act passed
January Session, eighteen hundred and sixty-seven,
Chapter two hundred and ninety-eight, entitled
"An Act to incorporate the Pennsylvania Line
Railroad Company," be and the same is hereby
repealed, and re-enacted with amendments, as fol-
lows :

Sec. 6. And be it enacted, That to continue the
succession of the President and Directors of said
company, four Directors shall be chosen annually
from among the stockholders, after notice afore-
said, on the first Monday of January in every year,
in the city of Frederick, by the stockholders of said
company, other than the Mayor, Aldermen and
Common Council of Frederick, and that the Mayor,
Aldermen and Common Council of Frederick shall
elect from among the stockholders, at the same time
and place, five additional Directors; hut the said
Mayor, Aldermen and Common Council of Fred-
erick shall not be permitted to vote upon its stock
in the election of the said four Directors by the
other stockholders of the company as aforesaid,
