So the motion submitted by Mr. Carroll was decided in the-
negative.
The question then recurring upon the order of the day,
being the Joint Resolutions in reference to the claim of the
State against the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company,
Mr. Watkins moved that the further consideration thereof
be postponed, and said resolutions be made the special order
of the day for Monday next.
The question being upon concurring in the motion of Mr.
