Mr. Streett as an amendment to the Resolutions submitted by
Mr. Hoblitzell, as an amendment to the Resolutions submit-
ted by Mr. Merrick.

Pending the consideration of which,

By unanimous consent,

Mr. Hammond submitted certain Joint Resolutions.

Which were read for information.

Whereupon Mr. Merrick gave notice that he would, at the
proper time, accept the same as a substitute for the original
Resolutions submitted by him.

On motion of Mr. Merrick,

The Resolutions which had been read for information, were
ordered to be printed.

Mr. Carroll moved that when the House adjourn to-day, it
stands adjourned until Monday morning at eleven o'clock.

The question being upon concurring in the motion,
Mr. Watkins moved the previous question.

The question then being: ''Shall the main question be
now put."

It was decided in the affirmative.

The question then recurring upon concurring in the motion
submitted by Mr. Carroll,

On motion of Mr. Hoblitzell,
