CHAPTER 300.

AN ACT for the relief of the Sweetzer Bridge Com-
pany and Richard S. Stewart, and authorizing
the County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
county to correct the errors in the assessment of
their property.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the County Commissioners of
Anne Arundel county be, and they are hereby
authorized to correct the assessments and valua-
tion of the lands and premises of the Sweetzer
Bridge Company and Richard S. Stewart, errone-
ously assessed under the Act of the General Assem-
bly, and to cause the same to be re-assessed accord-
ing to their true value.

Power to re-
assess.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 301.

AN ACT to repeal Chapter two hundred and
ninety-nine of the Laws of Maryland, approved
March thirtieth, eighteen hundred and sixty-
eight, entitled An Act to repeal the Act of
eighteen hundred and sixty-seven, Chapter two
hundred and ninety, entitled An Act to add a,
new Article to the Code of Public General
Laws, to be entitled "Public Roads," except
so far as said Act relates to Somerset County.

SECTION 1. Be if enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Chapter two hundred and
ninety-nine of the Laws of Maryland, approved
March thirtieth, eighteen hundred and sixty-eight,
entitled An Act to repeal the Act of eighteen hun-
dred and sixty-seven, Chapter two hundred and
ninety, entitled An Act to add a new Article to
the Code of Public General Laws, to be entitled
