and of Baltimore city, namely : Anne Arundel, Baltimore,
Calvert, Cecil, Charles, Dorchester, Frederick, Harford,
Howard, Kent, Montgomery, Prince George's Queen Anne's,
St. Mary's, Somerset, Talbot and Worcester, and considera-
ble objection has been made, therefore
Be it ordered by the House of Delegates of Maryland, That
the Committee on the Judiciary be requested to inquire into
the expediency of amending the Local Law of the aforesaid
counties, including the City of Baltimore.
Which was adopted.
Mr. Hopkins, who had given notice of his intention so to
do on a previous day, submitted the following order:
Ordered, That the daily meeting of this House be at 12,
M,, instead of 11 o'clock, A. M.

Mr. Sanner called up the order submitted by him on yes-
terday, in reference to adding a rule to the Standing Rules
of the House, so that the House shall not adjourn for more
than one day without the concurrence of two-thirds of the
members present, by yeas and nays.

On motion of Mr. Sword,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to renew the charter of Jerusalem, in Wash-
ington county, and re-enact the same with amendments,
On motion of Mr. Neill,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to amend an Act passed December session,
1845, chapter 37, entitled an Act to incorporate the Mutual
Insurance Company, of Washington county, and the several
Acts supplementary thereto and amendatory thereof.
On motion of Mr. Harrington,
Leave was granted to the Dorchester delegation to intro-
duce a bill authorizing and empowering the County Com-
missioners of Dorchester county to erect a bridge over what
is known as Hooper's Island Ferry, in said county.
On motion of Mr. McLane,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to repeal section 112, chapter 471, Act 1868,
entitled "Corporations," and to re-enact the same to read as
follows.
