CHAPTER 258.
AN ACT to remove the disabilities of all persons
which have been incurred under the forty-first
section of Article third of the Constitution, and
to restore them to the full privileges of citizens.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That all persons otherwise entitled
to hold offices of profit and trust within this State,
who have fought a duel with deadly weapons, or
sent or accepted a challenge so to do, or who have
acted as second or knowingly aided or assisted in

any manner those offending, be and they are here-
by relieved from the disabilities imposed upon them
by Article three, section forty-one, of the Consti-
tution of the State., and are hereby restored to their
full privileges as citizens, so far as the same may
have been affected by said section and article.

CHAPTER 259.
AN ACT to confirm and approve an Act passed
at January session, eighteen hundred and sixty-
eight, chapter three hundred and fifty-three, en-
titled, An Act to authorize the Commissioners
of Howard county to subscribe to the capital
stock of Turnpike Roads in said county.
