CHAPTER 252.
|

AN ACT to repeal section four, chapter ninety, of
the Acts of Assembly, January session, eighteen
hundred and sixty-eight, entitled, An Act to in-
corporate the Deer Park Turnpike Road Com-
pany of Baltimore county, and re-enact the same
so as to read as follows :

Repealed and
re-enacted.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That section four of the Act entitled
an Act to incorporate the Deer Park Turnpike
Road Company, passed January session, eighteen
hundred and sixty-eight, chapter ninety, be and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to
read as follows :

. subscriptions.

4. And be it enacled, That the President and
Directors, after their election as hereinbefore pro-
vided for, shall have full power to receive addi-
tional subscriptions for the completion of said road,
and said President and Directors are hereby in-
vested with all the rights and powers necessary to
the construction of said road, on the bed of the
county road, known as the Deer Park Road, or as
nearly as may be practicable so to do, making an
artificial bed of stone not less than twelve feet in
width.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
