hereby directed to issue his warrant upon the Trea-
surer to pay John S. Berry, John Slack and Carey
McClelland, Commissioners named in and ap-
pointed by the Act of eighteen hundred and sixty-
four, Chapter twenty-three, and by an amendatory
Act of eighteen hundred and sixty-six, Chapter
one hundred and twenty, the sum of seven thou-
sand six hundred and thirty-six ($7,636) dollars,
to enable them to pay off the liabilities incurred
by them in the discharge of their duties as Com-
missioners under said Acts.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Com-

missioners are hereby directed to pay, out of the
seven thousand six hundred and thirty-six dollars
($7,636) placed in their hands for the settlement of
these claims, to Arnes McComas five thousand eight
hundred and eighty-three dollars, to John T.
Bishop nine hundred dollars, and to divide the
balance thereof among themselves in such manner
and in such proportions as they may determine to
be just and equitable; and the said Commissioners,
at the time they receive the said sum of seven thou-
sand six hundred and thirty-six dollars, ($7,636,)
shall be prepared with the receipts of Ames
McComas, John T. Bishop, and their own, and

which said receipts shall set forth on their face that
the amounts therein paid are in full of all claims
and accounts on the State, for the services rendered
under the Acts of eighteen hundred and sixty-four,
Chapter twenty-three, and eighteen hundred and
sixty-six, Chapter one hundred and twenty, and
said receipts shall then be filed by the Treasurer
in his office.

Paid in full.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.
