CHAPTER 216.

AN ACT to repeal Sections forty-four, forty-five
and forty-nine of Article sixteen of the Code of
Public Local Laws, entitled Prince George's
County, under Lead of Collectors, enacted by
the Act of eighteen hundred and sixty-eight,
Chapter there hundred and thirty, and to repeal
Sections thirty-three, thirty-four and thirty-five
of Article eighty-one of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws, entitled "Revenue and Taxes," enact-
ed by the Act of eighteen hundred and sixty-five,
Chapter one hundred and fifty-five, and Sections .
forty-nine and seventy-four of Article eighty-one,
Code of Public General Laws, under same head,
in so far as the same may relate to Prince
George's County, and to re-enact the following
as Section forty-four, forty-five and forty-nine of
Article sixteen of the Code of Public Local Laws,
entitled Prince George's County, under head of
Collectors, and to add Section fifty-four and fifty-
five as new sections to said Article sixteen of the
Code of Public Local Laws.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Sections forty- four, forty-five
and forty-nine of Article sixteen of the Code of
Public Local Laws, entitled Prince George's Coun-
ty, under head of Collectors, and Section thirty-
three, thirty-four and thirty-five of Article eighty-
one of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Revenues and Taxes," and Sections forty-nine

and seventy-four of Article eighty-one Code of Pub-
lic General Laws, under same head, in so far as the
same may relate to Prince George's County, be
and the same are hereby repealed and the follow-
ing enacted as Sections forty-four, forty-five, forty-
nine, fifty-four and fifty-five of Article sixteen of
the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled Prince
George's County, under the head of Collectors.

Sec. 44. The Treasurer of Prince George's Coun-
ty shall be the collector of county taxes for Prince
