enacted for the protection of cemeteries, burial
grounds and places of sepulchre, shall apply with
full force and effect to this Cemetery hereby incor-
porated, immediately from and after the passage
of this Act.

Sum appro-
priated.

Sec. 10. And be it enacted, That the sum of five
thousand dollars be and the same is hereby appro-
priated to carry into effect this Act, which amount
shall bo paid to the Treasurer of the Corporation
upon the warrant of the Governor, in such sums
as may be by him deemed necessary. Before any

Trustees to select a site for the Cemetery, in ac-
cordance with this Act, to report the same to the
Governor for his approval, stating the price to be
paid, and the location, and such other information
as the Governor may require.

AN ACT to incorporate the Snow Hill Gas Light
Company.

SUCTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Thomas Timmons, P. de Mur-
guindo, Thomas D. Purnell, George S. Richard-
son, Samuel H. Jarrnan, William H. W. Farrow,
Levi Purnell, James Collins and Sydney R. Tim-
mons, and all such persons as shall associate with
them by becoming stockholders, in the manner
hereinafter provided, their successors and assigns,
are hereby made and constituted a body politic

and corporate, by the name, style and title of the
Snow Hill Gas Light Company, and by that name
shall have perpetual succession, and shall be capa-
ble in law to sue and be sued, to plead and be im-
pleaded, to answer and be answered, in any court
of law or equity; to make and use a common seal,
