said several counties aforesaid, shall proceed to
collect the sum so levied and apportioned among
them by the said County Commissioners as soon as
the levy list is placed in their hands, in the same
manner as now provided by law for the collection of
State and County taxes in the said several counties,
and shall keep and return an accurate account,
under oath, of the money arising therefrom, to-
gether with the money collected by them, and
shall be entitled to receive out of the fund provided
by this Act ten per centum on the amount collected

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That in case any per-
son shall refuse or neglect to pay the tax levied as

to kill said dog, and for every dog killed as afore-
said the said constable shall be entitled to receive
out of said fund the sum of ten cents, and for
failure to execute the provisions of this law in any

shall be fined not less than twenty-five dollars,
and not more than two hundred dollars, in the
discretion of the Court having jurisdiction over
the same, and costs, said fine to be placed to the
credit of said fund, unless there shall be an in-
former, in which case one-half of said fine shall
be to the use of the informer, and the other half
to the use of said fund.

Sec. 5, And be it enacted, That the money
arising from the levy aforesaid shall constitute a
fund in the hands of the County Commissioners
