CHAPTER 185.
AN ACT to enable the Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore to endorse the First Mortgage Bonds
of the Lynchburg and Danville Railroad Com-
pany to the amount of seven hundred and fifty
thousand dollars, and to submit the ordinance
providing for such endorsement to the legal
voters of the city of Baltimore.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore he and it is hereby authorized and em-
powered to endorse the first mortgage bonds of the
Lynchburg and Danville Railroad Company, to an
amount not exceeding the sum of seven hundred
and fifty thousand dollars, upon such terms and
conditions as may he determined upon by the said
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, and to sub-
mit the ordinance providing for such endorsement
to the legal voters of the city of Baltimore.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the ordi-
nance heretofore passed by the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore, for the purposes mentioned
in the first Section of this Act, be and the same is
hereby ratified and confirmed.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 186.
AN ACT to make valid the acts and deeds of the
Road Supervisors in Baltimore County, acting
under the Law passed at the January Session of
eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, Chapter four
hundred and eleven, approved thirtieth of March,
eighteen hundred and sixty-eight.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the several local Boards of Road
