Mr. Blake submitted the following order:

Ordered, That it be placed on the Journal, that Mr.
Wiley is absent from his seat in consequence of urgent
business.

Mr. Meekins submitted the following order:

Ordered, That the Committee on Claims be, and are
hereby instructed, not to allow the claim to clerks of County
Commissioners for services rendered in compliance with the
order adopted by this House the 20th January last.

Which was read.

On motion of Mr. Harrington, the order was laid on the
table.

Mr. Banner submitted the following order:

Ordered, That it be entered upon the Journal, that Mr.
Morse is absent from his seat on business connected with this
House.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Sanner submitted the following order:

Ordered, That it be added as one of the rules of this,
House, that this House shall not adjourn for more than one
day without the consent of two-thirds of the members present
by yeas and nays.

Which was read, and the further consideration thereof
postponed until to-morrow, under the rules.

Mr. Collins submitted the following order:

Ordered, That it be entered upon the Journal, that James
Stanton, door-keeper to this House, is detained from his
position by sickness, and he be excused for six days.

Which was adopted.
On motion of Mr. Neill,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to add an additional clause to section 6 of
chapter 7, of the Acts of 1861, entitled "Exemption from
Execution."

On motion of Mr. Shower,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to incorporate the town of Manchester,
in Carroll county.

On motion of Mr. Neill,

Leave was granted to the Commitee on Corporations
to introduce a bill to amend an Act passed 1854, chap-
