CHAPTER 174.

AN ACT to amend the Public General Laws passed
January session, eighteen hundred and sixty-
five, Chapter thirty-one, so as to exempt Wico-
mico and Dorchester Counties from the effect of
the second section thereof so far as relates to the
Publication of the Local Laws.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That so much of the second and third
sections, Chapter thirty-one, of the Laws passed
January session, eighteen hundred and sixty-five,
as applies to Wicomico and Dorchester Counties,
requiring the publication of Local Laws in all the
newspapers of Wicomico and Dorchester Counties
he and the same is hereby repealed.

In force.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

Approved April 4, 1870.

CHAPTER 175.

AN ACT to amend Chapter theee hundred and
eighty-nine, of Acts of Assembly, January ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and sixty-four, entitled
an Aet supplemental to the Act entitled an Act
to Incorporate the Baltimore and Liberty Turn-
pike Company, and Amendatory of the Act enti-
tled an Act incorporating a Company to make
the Bloomingdale Turnpike Road on the bed of
the present road leading from the Blacksmith
Shop of John Slack, on the Franklin Turnpike
Road, in Baltimore County, to intersect the
Windsor Mill Road at a point at or near the
City line, and running thence on the bed of the
Windsor Mill Road to a point known as Wells'
Corner, by inserting an additional section as a
substitute for Section nine, and make the pre-
sent Section nine to read "Ten."
Sec. 9. And be it enacted, That the rates of toll
as prescribed by Section five of the Act to which
