AN ACT to repeal Sections two hundred and
ninety-six and three hundred and twelve of Arti-
cle twenty-one of the Public Local Laws of Wash-
ington County, and to re-enact the same, with
amendments, and to add a sub-section thereto.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Sections two hundred and
ninety-six and three hundred and twelve of Arti-
cle twenty-one of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Washington County entitled "Smithsburg" be and
the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
the following sub-section:

296. Be it enacted, That the limits of said town
for all purposes except taxation by the laws of
said corporation shall be as follows; Beginning
in the middle of the public road leading from
Smithsburg to the town of Leitersburg, opposite
the north-western margin of an out lot conveyed
by Henry W. Lyday to Edward Clark, and thence
so as to run with said margin or boundary south
thirty-two and three-quarter degrees west, one
hundred and sixty-eight and fifty-six hundredth
perches, thence so as as to run with the south-
western boundary of an out lot conveyed by the
school commissioners of Washington County to
