Not to destroy

shoot, or in any manner catch, kill or wound any
muskrats, otter or mink in Dorchester and Wicom-
ico Counties between the first day of April and the
fifteenth of December in each and every year.
|
Penalty,
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That any person
caught or seen violating the preceding section of
this Article, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and
on conviction thereof, in the Circuit Court for said
Counties, shall be fined not less than twenty dol-
lars, nor more than thirty dollars, or be imprisoned
in the County Jail not exceeding six months or
until the payment of said fines and costs; one-half

of said fine to be paid to the County Commissioners
of said County in which the misdemeanor may
have been committed for the use of the Public
Schools of said County, and the other half to the
informer.

Treespassing.
|
Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That any person or
persons found trespassing upon the landsor marshes
of another in said County with the intention of
catching, trapping or shooting any muskrats, otters
or minks without the permission of the owner or
owners of said lands or marshes, he, she, or they
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and on
conviction thereof, in the Circuit Court for said

Fine,
|
County, shall be fined not less than ten dollars,
nor more than twenty dollars, or be imprisoned in
the County Jail not exceeding thirty days, or until
the payment of said fine and costs; one-half of said
fine to be paid to the County Commissioners of
said County in which the misdemeanor may have
been committed for the use of the Public Schools
of said County and the other half to the informer.

Sec, 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
