CHAPTEB 168.
AN ACT entitled an additional Supplement io
An Act to Incorporate the Roman Catholic Con-
gregation in Baltimore Town, passed November
Session, seventeen hundred and ninety-five,
chapter fifteen, to enable the said Corporation
to purchase a new Burial Ground.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Trustees of the Catholic
Cathedral Church of Baltimore, and their succes-
sors, as incorporated by the Act of eighteen hun-
dred and twenty, chapter eighty-four, be and they
are hereby authorized and empowered, in addition
to the ground and premises which the said Cor-

poration was authorized to purchase and use as a
Burial Ground by the Act of eighteen hundred
and fourteen, chapter two, and eighteen hundred
and forty-five, chapter three hundred and eighty-
four, to purchase, hold and use for a Burial Ground
attached to said church and lands and premises in
Baltimore County, not exceeding one hundred
acres.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 169.
AN ACT to repeal Section seventeen, Article fifty-
three, of the Code of Public General Laws,
entitled " Landlord and Tenant," as repealed
and re-enacted by Chapter one hundred and sev-
enty-three of the Acts passed eighteen hundred
and sixty-eight, exempting certain articles
from distress for rent, and to re-enact the fol-
lowing in lieu thereof.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Section seventeen, Article fifty-
