CHAPTER 149.
AN ACT to amend an Act entitled "An Act in-
corporating the Baltimore College of Dental
Surgery," passed February first, eighteen hun-
dred and forty, Chapter one hundred and fifty-
five.
|
Charter made
perpetual.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Charter of the said Bal-
timore College of Dental Surgery be, and the same
is hereby made perpetual, the Legislature reserving
to itself the right at any time to amend, alter or
repeal the same.
|
Repealed.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That any Act conflict-
ing with the provisions of this Act, be, and the
same is hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 150.
|
|
AN ACT supplementary to the Act of eighteen
hundred and sixty-seven, Chapter three hundred
and fifty-four, incorporating the Queenstown and
Harrington Railway Company.
|
May execute
mortgage.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Queenstown and Harring-
ton Railway Company be, and they are hereby
authorized and empowered to include their fran-
chises in any mortgage which they may execute
for the security of their first mortgage bonds.
|
Construct
anrl maintain
road.
|
Sec. 2, And be it enacted, That the said Queens-
town and Harrington Railway Company is hereby
authorized under the provisions of their Charter to
extend, construct and maintain their railway from
their station at, or near, Queenstown to the west
side of Kent Island, in Queen Anne's County.
|
In force.
|
Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
