On motion of Mr. Martin,

The further consideration thereof was postponed and the
bill made the order of the day for Tuesday next, 8th inst.

The bill entitled an Act to add new sections to Article 51,
of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Justices of the
Peace," as amended by the Act of 1868, chapter 443,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 18, of Article 16,
of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Chancery,"
sub-title "Auditor," and to re-enact the same so as read as
follows,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Governor to ap-
point one additional Justice of the Peace for election dis-
trict No. 1, in Worcester county,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to continue in force an Act enti-
tled an Act for the benefit of the Library Company of the
Baltimore Bar,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 79, of Article 6,
title, " Caroline County," sub-title, "Elections," of the
Code of Public Local Laws, and to enact the following sec-
tion in lieu thereof,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Governor to ap-
point a Notary Public in the Town of Princess Anne, in Som-
erset county,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Real Estate and
Savings Bank of Baltimore,

Being upon a second reading, was,
On motion of Mr. Gorman,
Ordered to be printed.

The bill entitled an Act to refund to John R. Robertson,
