late Sheriff of Charles county, the sum of forty-nine dollars
and fourteen cents, being interest upon the balance of his ac-
count, as adjusted by the Comptroller, September 30th, 1869,
under Act of 1868, chapter 210,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to authorize John T. Waller,
Guardian, to settle his accounts as Guardian to Charles N.
Waller, and to deliver over the estate to his ward,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act passed at the
January session, 1867, entitled an Act to authorize the Penn-
sylvania Mutual Horse Thief Detecting and Insurance Com-
pany, of York, Pennsylvania, and to re-enact the same with
amendments,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the National Bank
of Frostburg,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to amend an Act, passed March
9, 1850, to incorporate the Potomac Steamboat Company,
and to extend the charter of the same as amended,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore, to endorse the Mortgage Bonds of the-
Western Maryland Railroad Company to the amount of four-
teen hundred thousand dollars, as provided by an ordinance
of said Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, entitled "an
Ordinance to authorize the endorsement or guarantee by the
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, of the Mortgage Bonds
of the Western Maryland Railroad Company, and to pro-
vide a sinkingfund in connection therewith," approved Janu-
ary 26, 1870,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The Secretary of the Senate returned the following House
bills,

Severally endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."
