A bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments, section 170, Article 30, Public General Laws, en-
titled "Crimes and Punishments," sub-title "Rivers "

Amend by inserting after the word ''pay," in the 11th
line, the words "a sum not exceeding."

Amend by striking out the words in the 2d line, "in the

Point, or."
