Said Resolutions were then sent to the Senate.

The hour having arrived for taking up the order of the day,.

The House proceeded to the consideration of the resolutions
submitted by Mr. Merrick, relative to the claim of the State
against the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad.

Pending which,

On motion of Mr. Merrick,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
resolutions made the special order of the day for Wednesday
next, 9th instant.

The House then resumed the consideration of the unfin-
ished business of yesterday, being the bill entitled an Act to
add an additional clause to section 29, Article 10, of Public
General Laws, entitled "Attachment."

The question recurring upon the adoption of the unfavora-
ble report of the Committee on the Judiciary, when,

On motion of Mr. Blake,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill recommitted to the Committee on the Judiciary.

The House then proceeded to the consideration of the un-
finished business of Wednesday, 3rd instant, being the bill
entitled an Act to repeal chapter 295, Act of Assembly 1868,
entitled an Act to amend Article 4, of the Code of Public Lo-
cal Laws, title "Guano." by adding thereto the following
sections relating to the inspection of all fertilizers other than
Guano, and to substitute the following in lieu thereof.

The question recurring upon the adoption of the amend-
ments submitted br Mr. Biddle.
