The question recurring upon the passage of said Resolu-
tions,

On motion of Mr. Biddle,

A call of the House was ordered.

Present at the call of the roll the following members :

win, of Anne Arundel, Wells, Owings, Duke, Mitchell, Chap-
man, Cameron, Shipley, Turner, Hardcastle, of Talbot, Brat-
tan, Lankfbrd, Harrington, Touchstone, Owens, Richards, Bid-
die, Marbury, Wootton, Duvall, Thomas, of Queen Anne's,
Brown, Dennis, Furnell, Thomas, of Frederick, Bowlus,
McCreery, White, Harris, Baldwin, of Harford, Streett,
Hopkins, Hardcastle, of Caroline, Morse, Blake, Wiley, Mc-
Lane, Colton, Kirk, Ehlen, Gardner, Markland, Marshall,
Hoblitzell, Neill, Welty, Sword, Seibert, Wilson, of Allega-
ny, Standish, Myers, Percy, Shower, Jordan, Winters,
Crouse, Merrick, German, Crawford, Gordy—64.

On motion of Mr. Gorman,

The Sergeant-at-Arms was directed to notify all the absent
members now in the city to give their attendance, and to
bring them before the bar of the House.

After an absence of thirty minutes the Sergeant-at-Arms
returned and reported that he had notified all the absent
members now in the city to give their attendance, and had
brought them before the bar of the House.

On motion of Mr. Morse,

All further proceedings under the call were dispensed with.

The Joint Resolution rejecting the proposed XVth Amend-
mend to the Constitution were passed by yeas and nays, as
follows :
