judgments and decrees on the dockets of said
Court from the year eighteen hundred and sixty-
seven, in the names of all the parties to such judg-
ments or decrees.

 

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the County Com-
missioners for Queen Anne's County be and they
are hereby required to levy upon the assessable
property of said County a sum sufficient to pay
the Clerk of said Court fifteen cents for each judg-
ment and decree required by him to be indexed by
this Act.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 11.

 

AN ACT to repeal Section two hundred and four,
of Article twenty one, of Public Local Laws for
Washington County, relating to Justices of the
Peace and Constables in said County, and re-
enact the same as amended ;

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Section two hundred and four,
of article twenty-one, of Code of Public Local
Laws for Washington County, relating to Justices
of the Peace and Constables in Washington County,
be and the same are hereby repealed, and re-enacted
to read as follows:

Repeal.

Sec. 204. Be it enacted, That there shall be the
following number of Justices of the Peace and
Constables for Washington County, to wit: For
Election District number one, two Justices of the
Peace and two Constables; for Election District
number two, three Justices of the Peace and three
Constables; for Election District number three,
three Justices of the Peace and four Constables;
for Election District number four, two Justices of
the Peace and two Constables; for Election Dis-
trict number five, three Justices of the Peace and
two Constables, one of which Justices shall always
