CHAPTER 9.
|

AN ACT to repeal Section 25, Article 13, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title " Howard
County," sub-title "Justices of the Peace and
Constables," and re-enact the same with amend-
ments.
|
Repeal.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Section 25, Article 13, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Howard
County," sub-title Justices of the Peace and Con-
stables, be and the same is hereby repealed, and
re-enacted so as to read as follows ;

Justices and
Constables.
|
Sec. 25. There shall be the following number
of Justices of the Peace and Constables for Howard
County, to wit ; For Election District number
one, two Justices of the Peace and two Constables;
for Election District number two, three Justices
of the Peace and two Constables; for Election
District number three, four Justices of the Peace
and two Constables; for Election District number
four, three Justices of the Peace and two Con-
stables; for Election District number five, three
Justices of the Peace and two Constables, and for
Election District number six, two Justices of the
Peace and two Constables.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to provide for the continuation of the
General Index of Judgments in Queen Anne's
County.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Clerk of the Circuit Court
for Queen Anne's County be and he is hereby au-
thorized and directed to continue the Index of all
