On motion of Mr. Blake,

Leave was granted to a Select Committee of one from
each county and Legislative District of the City of Balti-
more to report a bill to extend the limits of the City of Bal-
timore,

On motion of Mr. Webb,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill to amend the Charter of the Franklin Bank of
Baltimore.

On motion of Mr. McLane,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill to incorporate the Corn and Flour Exchange of
Baltimore city.

On motion of Mr. Beck,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Beck, Wilmer and Brown to
introduce a bill to protect fox hunters in Kent county.

On motion of Mr. Standish,

Leave was granted to the Allegany county delegation to
introduce a bill for the better protection of birds in Allegany
county.

On motion of Mr. Blake,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore city delegation to re-
port a bill to. authorize the Mayor and City Council of Balti-
more to fund the floating debt of the city.

On motion of Mr. Duvall,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to intro-
duce a bill to pay George Merrick, State's Attorney of
Prince George's county, certain fees due him.

On motion of Mr. Harrington,

The vote by which leave was granted to the Committee
on the Judiciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to re-
peal sections 555, 556, 557/558, 559, 560, 561, 562, 563
and 564, of Article 4 of the Public Local Laws of Bal-
timore city, entitled "Wood," and also to Repeal chapter
116, passed January session, 1862, relating to inspecting
and cording of fire wood in Baltimore city, was recon-
sidered.

The question then recurring upon the reference of the
leave,

On motion of Mr. Harrington,

It was referred to the Committee on Inspections.
