The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointments agreeably to the nominations.

Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland:

I herewith transmit to you, the Executive appointment
made by my predecessor in office, during the recess of the
Senate, for Montgomery county:

May 4, 1868.—Richard E. Nicholson, Justice of the Peace
5th district, vice Elisha D. Berry, who
failed to qualify.

On motion by Mr. Sellman,

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointment, agreeably to the nomination.
