The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointments, agreeably to the nominations.

I herewith transmit to you the Executive appointments
made by my predecessor in office during the recess of the
Senate, for Kent county:

May 28, 1868.—Arthur B. Wheatley, Justice of the Peace
5th district, vice G. W. Hunt, resigned.

Nov. 10, 1868.—James E. Blackiston, Justice of the Peace
5th district, vice Edward W. Comegys,
removed from district.
