district, vice Jno. B. Summers, resigned.

Jan. 11, 1869.—George L. Stocksdale, Justice of the Peace,
8th district, vice Charles Sykes, resigned.

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointments, agreeably to the nominations.
