The further consideration thereof was postponed and the
bill ordered to be printed.
Mr. McCreery submitted the following order :
Ordered, That the committee appointed by Act of 1868,
chap. 416, with authority to purchase a lot of ground, and
erect thereon a mansion for the Governor of this State, be re-
quested to report to this House, as soon as practicable, what
action they have had in said matter, showing, particularly,
what contracts they have entered into, what sums of money
have been expended, and what, if any, expenses incurred yet
remain unpaid or unprovided for by appropriations ; also,
whether they have made any sales of the furniture of the
house formerly occupied by the Governor ; if so, what amount
of money has been received on account of the same, and what
disposition has been made of the funds so received.

On motion of Mr. Watkins,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to intro-
duce a bill to repeal the 4th section of chapter 466, of an Act
to run, identify and mark the line between Prince George's
and Montgomery counties, and re-enact the same with
amendments.
On motion of Mr. Neill.
Leave was granted to the Washington county delegation
to introduce a bill to repeal section 89, of Article 21, of the-
Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Washington County,"
sub-title "Crier," and to re-enact the same as amended.
On motion of Mr. Thomas, of Frederick,
Leave was granted to the Frederick delegation to report a
bill to repeal the Act of incorporation of Central Chapel and
Cemetery of Frederick county, and re-enact the same with
amendments.
On motion of Mr. Kean,
Leave was granted to the Allegany delegation to leport a
bill to authorize "Philos Lodge, No. 91, Independent Order
of Odd-Fellows," of Allegany county, to divide into burial
lots the parcel of land owned by it, and known as the ''Phi-
los Cemetery," and to sell the same and issue certificates
therefor.
On motion of Mr. Baldwin, of Anne Arundel,
Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel county delegation
to introduce a bill to authorize the Mutual Building Asso-
ciation of Annapolis to construct a bridge from said city
over Spa Creek, in Anne Arundel county.
