adopted, on the House bill entitled an Act to pay the claims
of B. F. May and others.

On the question being put,
It was determined in the negative.

Mr. Malone moved a reconsideration of the vote by which
House bill No. 138, entitled "Chancery," sub-title, "Juris-
diction," was rejected by the Senate.

On the question being put,
It was determined in the affirmative.
Said bill being before the Senate for consideration,
Mr. Malone submitted the following amendment:

Provided that the Board of County School Commissioners
of Worcester county shall pay over to the Board of County
School Commissioners of Wicomico county, any money which
may be found to be due to the people of Wicomico county,
living in that part formerly embraced in Worcester county,
for educational purposes, out of the accumulated school
fund of said Worcester county.

On the question being put,
It was determined in the negative.
Mr. Malone submitted the following amendment:

That the provisions of this Act shall not apply to Cecil,
Kent, Queen Anne's, Talbot, Caroline and Dorchester coun-
ties.

On the question being put,
It was determined in the negative.

Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, to whom
was referred House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the
Maryland Democratic Association, passed at the January ses-
sion, 1868, reported it without amendment.

Mr. Spates moved, that said bill be read the second time
this day.

The yeas and nays were called, as required by section 27,
of Article 3 of the Constitution and appeared, as follows :
