Mr. Browne moved that the House bill entitled an Act
directing the Comptroller of the Treasury, to cause to be
paid Brice Shipley a sum of money erroneously paid into the
Treasury, by the said Shipley, be read the third time this
day.

The yeas and nays were called as required by section 27,
of Article 3, of the Constitution and appeared, as follows :

the unfavorable report of the Committee on Finance was
