Mr. Jump moved that the House bill entitled an Act to
repeal the Act of 1867, chapter 385, which provides for pay-
ing pensions to soldiers of the war of 1812, and their widows,
and also, to repeal the Act of 1868, chapter 432, and to pro-
vide in lieu thereof for allowing pensions to certain soldiers
and widows of soldiers of the war of 1812, be read the second
time this day.
