Mr. Sellman, from the Select Committee, to whom was re-
ferred House bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
Richard T. West to place two gates on the public road,
through his farm, in Montgomery county reported it un-
favorably,

And the report was adopted.

Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, to whom
was referred House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the
Baltimore, Calverton and Powhatan Railroad Company, re-
ported it without amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Browne, from the Select Committee, to whom was re-
ferred House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 115, of
Article 7, of the Code of Public-Local Laws, title, "Carroll
County," sub-title, "Westminster," and to re-enact the
same with amendments, reported it without amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Wilson, from the Select Committee, to whom was re-
ferred House bill entitled an Act to provide for maintaining
and keeping in repair the public roads of Prince George's
county, reported it without amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Jump, from the Select Committee, to whom was re-
ferred House bill entitled an Act to prevent the sale of spiri-
tuous or Fermented liquors on Tilghman's Island, Talbot
county, or within three miles thereof, reported it without
amendment.

Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, to whom
was referred House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the
Johns Hopkins Mutual Life Insurance Company of Maryland,
reported it without amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, to whom
was referred House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the
Bently Springs Mining Company, reported, it unfavorably,
