Said bill was then read the second time. Mr. Wilson, from the Select Committee, to whom was re-
ferred House bill. entitled, an Act to repeal chapter 299, of
1868, entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1867, chapter 290,
entitled an Act to add a new Article to the Code of Public
General Laws, to be entitled "Public Roads," except so far
as relates to Somerset county, reported, it with the following
amendments: Section 1, line 11, after the word "County," insert: in so
far as relates to Prince George's county. Amend title by adding to the end thereof, the words in
so far as the same relates to Prince George's county. Which were read and adopted.
Said bill was then read the second time. Mr. Malone asked and obtained permission to withdraw
from the files, the Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize
and empower the County Commissioners of Wicomico county
to purchase sites and erect Public Buildings thereon for the
use of said county, and to issue bonds on the credit of the
county to carry into effect the provisions of this Act. The House bill entitled an Act to amend certain portions
of the Act entitled an Act to incorporate the Cecil and Har-
ford counties Boom Company, passed January session, 1867,
chapter 195, and require the said Company to remove certain
and all obstructions placed by them in the Susquehanna
river in violation of the aforesaid Act, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
