Carroll, Maddox,
Clarke, Malone,

Fields, Wilson—13.
Grove,

Mr. Maddox, moved a reconsideration of the vote by which
said amendment was lost.

Mr. Carroll submitted the following amendment to the
motion to reconsider:

Strike out chapter 18.

Which was determined in the affirmative.
Mr. Henkle submitted the following amendment :

Add at the end of section 2, chapter 20 : And the several
Colleges and Academies shall respectively receive the dona-
tions granted to them by any laws or resolutions of the Gen-
eral Assembly, subject to the conditions annexed thereto.

Which was read and adopted.
On motion by Mr. Grove,

The Senate was called and the Sergeant-at-Arms directed
to wait upon absent Senators, and inform them that their
attendance was required in the Senate Chamber.

On motion by Mr. Henkle,

Further proceedings under the call were dispensed with.
Mr. Fields submitted the following amendment:

Amend by striking out section 4, under the head of Mis-
cellaneous.
Which was rejected by yeas and nays, as follows :
