A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Queen Anne's county, at their next annual levy, to
levy a sum of money for the support of schools for colored
children.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators.
from Queen Anne's, Kent and Calvert counties.

A bill entitled an Act to amend and re-enact section 89, of
Article 22, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Worcester
county, relating to the protection of Fish in Synepuxent Bay,
in said county.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Worcester, Cecil and Howard counties.

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Montgomery county to repair the Jail in said
county, &c.

Which, was read the first time and. referred to the Senators.
from Montgomery, Somerset and Calvert counties.

A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Baltimore Savings
Loan and Trust Company.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled an Act to declare the sanction of the Gen-
eral Assembly to the bequest of David Smith, late of Wor-
cester county, deceased, to the Committee of Pitt's Creek
Church in said county.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Worcester, Cecil and Howard counties.

A bill entitled an Act for the protection of Rabbits in
Prince George's county.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Prince George's, Calvert and St. Mary's counties.

A bill entitled an Act to appropriate the gums of money
therein mentioned to pay the claims of John Murphy & Co.,
the heirs-at-law of A. M. Payne, assignee of Seth M . Whaley,
Thomas E. Dill, Thomas Ferry, C. A. S. Wolf, James S.
Franklin, S. Jackson & Co., James Hopkins, Samuel Stewart,
Owen Disney, Jesse Marden, James E. Tate and Cushings &
Medairy.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

A bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to Arti-
