January 'session 1867, chapter 247, entitled an Act to estab-
lish and incorporate an Asylum for the Deaf and Dumb of
the State of Maryland ; also, an Act passed 1868, chap. 409,
entitled an Act to amend and add sections to the Act of
1867, chap. 247.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and Council
of Hagerstown to levy a tax upon all dogs owned or kept in

said town.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Washington and Harford counties and 1st legislative

district of Baltimore city.

A bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act entitled an
Act to incorporate the Maryland and Delaware Railroad

Company, passed January session 1854, chap. 274.

tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Friendship Horse
Thief Association of Washington county.

titled an Act to add a new section to the Code of Public

General Laws, to bo entitled Domestic Insurance Companies,
providing for annual reports, &c., and to re-enact the same
with amendments.

A bill entitled an Act appropriating a sum of money to be

expended in removing the remains of the Confederate dead,
now lying in Frederick county, in this State, to Mount Olivet
Cemetery, and for the erection of head stones, &c.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 41, of Article 56,

of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled, "Licenses,"

sub-title, "Traders," passed January session, 1868, and to
re-enact the same so as to read as follows.
