words, '"and third election district," and insert the words,
election district.

Which were severally read and adopted.

The sections, as amended, and the title, as amended, were
then read and adopted.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, to whom
was referred House bill entitled an Act to amend certain por-
tions of the Act of 1867, chapter 195, entitled an Act to in-
corporate the Cecil and Harford County Boom Company, re-
ported it without amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Also, from the same Committee, to whom was referred
House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Washington,
Colesville and Ashton Turnpike Company, reported it with-
out amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Also, from the same Committee, to whom was referred
House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Worthington
Valley, Hampstead and Baughman Valley Railroad Com-
pany, reported it without amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Also, from the same Committee, to whom was referred
House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Berlin Bridge
Company, of Frederick county, reported it without amend-
ment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Kimmel, from the Select Committee, to whom was re-
ferred House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 861, of
Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "City
of Baltimore," sub-title "Streets," and to re-enact the same
with amendments, reported it without amendments.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Also, from the same Committee, to whom was referred
House bill entitled an Act to regulate and make uniform the
compensation of the Judges of the Orphans' Courts of the
several counties, and to fix the compensation of the 'Judges
of the Orphans' Court of Baltimore city, in pursuance of the
40th section of the 4th Article of the Constitution, reported
it without amendment.

Said bill was then read a second time.
